Residual current circuit breakers with overload protection Ex9BL20J

NOARK Electric introduces Ex9BL20J residual current circuit breakers with overload protection, specially designed for residential projects. These devices combine the functions of a residual current device and a circuit breaker in a single unit, significantly saving space compared to using separate components.
NOARK Electric has introduced a new series of modular combined residual current devices with circuit breakers – Ex9BL20J. These devices meet the requirements of the EN 61009-1 and EN 61009-2-1 standards and are designed for a wide range of domestic and residential applications. A significant benefit of the Ex9BL series is the saving of up to 50% in installation space compared to using a separate residual current device and circuit breaker.
Thanks to this combination of a circuit breaker and residual current device in a single module, it offers economic and space advantages, especially in switchboards with limited space.
The Ex9BL20J series residual current devices are voltage-independent, with a design based on a combination of a residual current device with a permanent magnet and a circuit breaker with a thermal and electromagnetic trip. This ensures the voltage independence of the tripping function. Non-zero voltage is therefore only required for the function of the "T" test button circuit during the protector test. Magnetic residual current devices should be tested regularly at least once every 6 months in a normal environment and every month in a demanding environment, such as in places with high humidity.
"Modern electrical installations often face space constraints, especially in residential construction. That's why we've expanded our popular Ex9BL circuit breaker range with the ExBL20J series, which is specially designed with this segment in mind. In a single module, we offer both a residual current device and a circuit breaker, which, thanks to its width of only 18 mm, represents a more economical solution compared to the standard two-module version," summarizes Štěpán Plicka, Product Manager at NOARK Electric, a global leader in electrical installation components.
Main features of the Ex9BL20J series:
- Compliance with EN 61009-1 and EN 61009-2-1
- Rated breaking capacity Icn 6 kA
- 1+N-pole design
- Rated residual current 30 mA
- Rated current up to 20 A
- Breaking characteristics of built-in circuit breaker B and C
- Protector type AC and A
- Width of 1 module (18 mm)
